  • I thought the camps took place at Central Ajax, why have you moved?
    Central Ajax is undergoing renovation work until the end of the year. We have temporarily re located to The Racing Club Warwick which is a fantastic venue. Image: Racing Club Warwick
  • Do you take 4 year olds who have not started school yet?
    We currently only take 4 year olds if they have started school. Please check back at our camps once your child starts reception.
  • Why are you not running football camps at the moment?
    Unfortunately due to our regular venue undergoing renovation we have had to relocate temporarily to a new site. Whilst we will enjoy the fantastic facilities on offer we will not have the space to run the football camps until we are back in our original venue.
  • How Can I Book?

  • Do you have Activity Camps and Football Camps for young people coming from outside of the UK?
    Yes,! We offer multi-activity and football camps for pre teen and teens from overseas. Please visit our International Camps page for more information about our camps and host families and how to contact us. For further information please see our International Camps FAQ's.
  • My child/ren has a medical condition, can they still attend?"
    Of course. We ask you to complete a medical questionnaire at the time of booking. Please ensure you provide as much information as possible to enable us to help your child/ren with their needs. All information remains strictly confidential.
  • Do you have a policy on behaviour?
    We have a policy on behaviour management which states our expectations around behaviour for attendees. Please visit our Policies and Procedures page for all of our Policies. We also display our behaviour rules and discuss these regularly with the attendees at the Camps.
  • Are Skills and More Activity Camps Ofsted registered?
    Yes, all our Camps will be Ofsted-registered to ensure we meet National Childcare Regulations. Ofsted review and approve our operating policies and procedures for child safeguarding, staff recruitment and Camp facilities.
  • What is your Safeguarding Policy?
    We have Safeguarding policies for online and on site camps. Please visit our Policies and Procedures page for to see all of our policies.
  • What are your Covid 19 procedures?
    We follow all the latest Government guidelines. For more information please see our Covid 19 Policy.
  • Do you provide lunch?
    We provide healthy snacks and refreshments at our camps. Your child would need to bring a packed lunch and is welcome to bring more snacks and refreshments although we operate a nut free policy.
  • Is there parking available to drop off my child/ren?
    There is ample free parking for you to use when dropping off or collecting your child/ren. Please note the below information relates to our current camps at The Racing Club Warwick. The main car park is council run and is a pay and display car venue. There are however 30 parking bays which are adjacent to the green perimeter fencing are part of the clubs lease from the council and therefore exempt from car park fees. The image below shows a line where the free 30 parking bays are situated - these are directly alongside the green perimeter fence, for any questions or clarity please ask upon arrival.
  • Where do the Football and Multi-Activity Camps take place?
    Our activity camps take place at Central Ajax Football Club, Hampton Road, Warwick CV35 8HA.
  • What does my child/ren need to bring to the Onsite Camp and what do they need to wear?
    We provide healthy snacks and refreshments at our camps. Your child would need to bring a packed lunch and is welcome to bring more snacks and refreshments although we operate a nut free policy. They will also need to bring: - A labelled water bottle - we will provide water refills at regular intervals. - Hand sanitiser, if you have it although we will be asking all children to wash their hands regularly. - Books or other reading materials should a child wish to read during a break. - Any medication that may be required. - Clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities (see below) - Suncream For the Football Camps they will need to bring: - Football Boots - Shin Pads Indoor clothing: - Comfortable Clothing (jogging bottoms/hoodies x2) - Spare socks - Indoor shoes - Old shirt or Apron (for arts and crafts) Outdoor clothing: - Waterproof raincoat/jacket / trousers (if owned) - Hat & scarf or snood or sunhat/cap - Gloves - Thick pair of socks - Outdoor trainers / boots - Quick drying clothes (no jeans)
  • What is the procedure of checking my child/ren in and out of camp?
    On arrival, we will confirm all the information provided on the booking form. If the booking/medical form has not been completed prior to attendance, we will request this is completed on site. We will ask you to sign the register and ask who will be collecting the child that day and at what time. If it is someone other than the person dropping off then we will need a description of the person and a password that they will use when they collect the child. On collection, we will ask you to sig the register and inform you of any situations you need to be aware of (e.g. accident/incident forms). Your child/ren cannot leave site un-attended or with someone we have not been informed about in advance.
  • What do I do if my child/ren is poorly and cannot attend?
    Please contact us on 07510 450148 to let us know as soon as you are able.
  • What do you provide at the Camps?
    We provide a safe and fun environment. At our onsite camp we have plenty of indoor equipment such as table tennis and table football and grounds for outdoor sports and games. We also provide hand sanitiser and ensure it is used on a regular basis. Some of camps also include food and drinks. This will be on the website and we will need dietary information in advance. For all other camps your child would need to bring a packed lunch and is welcome to bring more snacks and refreshments although we operate a nut free policy.
  • What if I'm running late/need to arrive later or pick up earlier?
    If you are running late at the end of the day please give as much notice as possible by calling 07510 450148. An additional fee will be incurred for any additional staffing or venue costs which is charged at £5 for every re-occuring 15 minutes the child is in our care. If you do not call us we will try to contact you. If however we are unable to contact you, or the Emergency Contact you have provided, we will have to cal the Police to inform them of the situation. If you are running early, please give us a call on 07510 450148 to et us know so we can inform your child/ren.
  • What happens if it rains?
    We know how unpredictable the British weather can be! We have fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities so the weather won't spoil the fun! We have a varied and exciting wet weather plan which we can implement at short notice.
  • How do I claim Lost Property?
    Please label clothing and drinks bottles / lunchboxes clearly. We will gather any items and store these at the venue for collection.
  • Where are the Mult-Activity and Football Camps based?
    Our camps are based at Central Ajax Football Club in the beautiful town of Warwick. in Warwickshire.
  • What does a typical week at the Camp involve?
    Attendees will typically spend 5 days at our activity camp in Warwick from Monday to Friday, with a full day excursion to either Warwick Castle or Cadbury World. Our teen attendees will do an escorted day trip to London. Evenings are spent with the host family with one group social evening each week. See here for an example timetable.
  • How can attendance at the camp improve my childs English?
    Camps provide an immersive experience with participants having the opportunity to do a range of activities alongside local young people who are attending the camp. This will increase their opportunity to practice their English skills and develop fluency whilst making new friendships.
  • What accommodation is provided for the home stay?
    Participants accommodation for the duration of the visit is with our home stay families. All the Host Families have been personally chosen and their homes inspected. Participants are guaranteed a warm welcome.
  • Can my child/ren stay longer than 7 days?
    Of course! The costs on our website are based on 7 nights however if your child/ren should wish to stay longer and this is possible there is a £32 a night charge. Please provide number of nights stay on your enquiry or booking form.
  • What sort of excursion can my child expect?
    We will offer one full day excursion to a local attraction. Typical visits for Pre Teens are to Warwick Castle or Cadbury World. For Teens, they will have the option of an escorted day trip to London.
  • What does the price include?
    The price includes: - Attendance at our multi activity camp (Monday to Friday). (with optional free time for teens) - 7 nights full board accommodation at one of our home stay families. - Full day excursion. - Fully comprehensive insurance with Guard.me - 1 social per week - Daily transport to the camp.
  • What is not included in the price?
    Not included in the price is: - Flights - Airport transfers
  • Are there any opportunities for English Language lessons to be arranged?
    Yes, we can arrange English Language lessons with one of our specialist English teachers. Please enquire for further details.
  • What about if my child/ren does not speak any English?
    Non speaking English participants will have a buddy to ensure they are able to join in with all the activities but we do suggest that the participants have a minimum of A2 level of English.
